Just saying "Hi!"

It's 3 am and I just finished crocheting a bookmark while reading some crochet mail. I think I may have designed my own bookmark! However, it looks "familiar" so I want to check around online to see if I haven't made something someone else already thought of. :) That happens, doesn't it? I mean when you have only 2 stitches involved, probably someone else has had the same great idea you have had, right?

I have the bookmark 'blocking' right now (just water and T-pins), and tomorrow I will add an angel charm that my daughters and I have created with our new beads. Oh, it's going to look lovely. This pattern was super easy, and I'm thinking of making a few in various colors. They would make wonderful gifts for readers one knows. And since they're so quick to make, one could gift quite a few people effortlessly. Put a few smiles on the faces out there. :)

I'll post pictures tomorrow of the two I finished last night and this morning. I finished the Bridal bookmark and it turned out gorgeous, if I do say so myself. Both of these are gifts...will I ever KEEP one for myself? Well, I think "I can make another one for myself" but do I ever sit down and do that? No! If I do happen to make another one, I think of someone else to give it to! Ha ha! I should SERIOUSLY keep a journal of my creations...then in a small way I will have kept them.

Have a wonderful day and be sure to play in the yarn today! Just make sure those needles aren't stashed in your pile of yarn.... ouch!

I forgot to add, I can't wait to see your bookmark! Sounds like the one I made you with the angel charm on it inspired you to make one! I bet it is beautiful.
