Coke or Pepsi?

And, no, they are NOT the same thing! I know some people call ALL dark sodas "coke" but that is simply not true. "Coke" is a shortened name of the brand "Coca-Cola", and I can almost assure you that any employee of the Pepsi Company would NOT like their product being referred to as "coke". All sodas (or "pop" to some of you) are not the same. They're so much not the same, that I know someone who actually paid $4.99 for ONE 12-pack of Coca-Cola instead of getting TWO 12-packs of Pepsi for only a penny more!

This is only a preference. It does not mean all people should "Enjoy Coca-Cola". If this had been an actual mandate, you would have been instructed as to where to go to get your own Coca-Cola. But this is only a preference. You may have a different preference.

I myself can't go a day without a real Coca-Cola. I am a coke-aholic. I am not ashamed to admit it! There is no subsitute!
Saw your link on Crochetville. Hi! I am "charmingly_wicked" on there. Hope to "see ya" soon.

"coke" is a southern term for soda/pop. If you ask for a coke up north, you'll get a coke. ;)

And if you go up north of the border, coke/pepsi uses real sugar instead of corn syrup. ;)

Well, I prefer Pepsi! diet because I can't stand the taste of the sweet sugar now. Should of never moved to California *snickers* I really buy whatever is cheaper and on sale. In fact, that is where I learned to stop putting sugar in my tea. Can you imagion! A Southern belle drinking her tea without sugar!

And to think I grew up on Coco-Cola

After school we would go to the drug store down from my fathers jewelery store and sit at the fountain....order a Chocolate Coco-Cola. That was a treat!
