One Small Thing

I'm sorry that it's been a few days since I posted. Life just gets busy, you know? Yes, I know ya'll know!

While I've been busy, I couldn't tell you WHAT I've been busy with. Not that it's a great big secret, it's just I don't know! I have 3 children, a husband, a home, things to wash, take care of, cook, and get my hobbies in there, too! I've just been doing, though just everyday stuff.

Things weighing on my mind, too, such as my baby brother graduating college August 5 and getting married August 6 (he figured they'd do that while everyone was already gathered in one city for the graduation!) and on the other extreme, my mom dealing with a relationship that is falling apart. Not with my dad...well, that already happened many years ago when I was a toddler. But with another boyfriend whom I just want to ask "What were you thinking???" So how's that for pendulum swinging, a relationship beginning on one hand and one ending on the other?

I have begun my day today by checking my email and a few blogs. I happened upon this one and was inspired. Perhaps you will be, too. I found the FAQs interesting.

As far as the yarn front, I finally got to start a project I've been thinking about for at least a week now. It's not made with yarn, however, but with thread. The Crochet List Bookmark Exchange is having a "Christmas in July" theme, and I had this cute idea running through my head that I want to make and submit. It won't be judged by it's picture, though. It'll be judged by how well the recipient describes it! I'll probably finish it by tomorrow, and although the bookmarks won't be judged by their picture, I'll be sure to post one here before I send it off. I think it's going to be cute.

Be sure to check out One Small Thing.

Hi Karla, I'm here! ha
Girl, I feel ya--my kids were driving me crazy plus this heat index of 102 was difficult! So, that's why I was so testy or is it the kids want everything they see and I must abide to their desires---not! Calgon!!!!!
