Have you heard?

There's a contest out there (not mine) and the prize is awesome - 13 skeins of yarn, 100% wool, in Scarlet! If you like to knit, or want to try, there's nothing easier than an 8x8 square. Go read about it here. I don't know what my chances are going to be with so many people surely to be joining in, but I do know that my chances are ZILCH if I don't play! Wouldn't it be just awesome to win that gorgeous yarn? So I'm off to knit a square! Or two. Or three.....

That's a nice idea indeed. I don't have the time to knit something to enter, I'm busy making Christmas gifts, but it's a fun project. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :-)

Thanks for posting on the RAOK list so that I found my way to your blog, I'm really enjoying reading it!

Hey Karla, thanks for coming by my blog. I've been lurking on yours off and on, I think I've left comments. . . anyway I hope I have. Thanks for the compliment on my cousin, I too think she's adorable. As for the contest, I did see that on CK's blog, but with all the projects I have on my plate, I think I'd better pass. . . maybe next time.

I wish I had a knitting dictionary! I don't know that many knitting stitches by heart... hmmm... Maybe I'll have to go buy a book.... I knitted two squares for something someone's doing at Crochetville. (It's a surprise, so I can't say what it's for...) I don't think I will enter this, only because I signed up for another swap, and now I have to get busy making things for my new craft booth! :))) So you may have a really good chance of winning, the less people that enter, and the more squares you send in!

That's a great contest! I have so many projects going right now I can't really make squares, but I'm sure lots of people are making them to win that yarn!

Hugs! Juli
