Recycled Magazine Envelopes

Looking for the infamous "envelopes" I was reading about on the FiberRAOK list, I hopped over to Lanie's blog to search them out. She was RAOKing people with them, and I wanted to see what they looked like. (I wasn't one of the lucky ones she RAOK'ed.) Better than getting a glimpse of them, Lanie actually posted the instructions to how she makes them! She says that she's been making them since Junior High, but I guess somehow I missed this crafty idea. Check it out here!

Awesome thanks for the link for the recycled envelope thingy. I love taking 'nothing' and making it into something beautiful and useful. I think that's why I love to knit and crochet, and bake. You take a string and two sticks or a hook, and make something useful. Or some flour sugar etc and make something yummy to eat...
Have a Nice Day!

Hey Karla did you see my envelopes I made? On my blog? Thanks to your blog entry. I LOVE this idea!! Now I flip through magazines saying 'Oooh, that would make an interesting envelope!' (Not 'Oooh, I want to read that article!') hee hee..

I got one of these in the mail on Saturday from Julie on Fiber RAOK....such a neat idea! I'm definitely going to make some myself for notecards!
